The less one knows history, the less one understands the present and its links with the past.

Many countries and their citizens tend to have a short memory when it comes to the issues they face. They often react to these problems in a simplistic and self-centered way, forgetting that they may have played a role in creating these issues themselves.

At the Davos summit, when world leaders gather, we often witness them blaming others instead of acknowledging their own shortcomings.

The Big Issue, a socially responsible and fierce brand, wants to draw attention to this lack of memory among leaders and countries.

So we’ve put a twist on the kids’ classic Memory Game and turned it into a Short Memory Game where players have to match today’s problems with yesterday’s causes.

The box of cards was distributed on Davos Summit as a giveaway to magazine readers and relevant influencers.
