Hi! Hallo! Hola! Oi! I’m Rod, a conceptual senior art director based in Amsterdam.
I like to push the boundaries of traditional advertising, exploring new technologies and mediums to create immersive, engaging experiences for consumers to power brands.
Driven by my cultural and social curiosity, I've lived and worked in diverse countries including Brazil, Sweden, Belgium, Bahrain, Israel, and the UK, allowing me to gain a deep understanding of different global markets.
I’m a hands-on creative, working from concept to final production, across various medium, encompassing integrated campaigns, social media, films, and interactive experiences.
My work is a reflection of my belief that great advertising has the power to inspire and transform.

Live your beauty
Integrated campaign for Natura, No 1 beauty brand in Brazil
Makeup is colour, tone, and voice. And for Natura, it's also music. A celebration of diversity and empowerment was launched to promote Natura's new product lines. A powerful music video, makeup tutorials, and a cast of women who reinvent themselves every day and are not restricted by beauty standards to honour the Brazilian woman.
Humans best friends
Beer is the message
We collaborated with the Bamberg Brewery and the charity Adote um Focinho to create Sem Dono Beer (Abandoned Beer), a delicious pilsner that was sold in shops across Brazil. Each bottle featured a dog that is up for adoption.
The Journey
Life organized neatly
Natura's first-ever campaign that targeted only men. To launch a new male fragrance, we celebrated life as a unique journey made by the choices we make. Natura's fragrance was presented as part of that journey using the "things organised neatly" social media trend to symbolise individual life choices. With a film to launch the campaign, the audience was invited to experience and create their journey on the campaign website.
Change in your pocket
The financial system needs to change, so we built a new one
I helped to create, build and launch The Big Exchange brand, an impact investing platform. Bridging the gap and promoting financial inclusion, the TBE was the opposite of what is usually done in the financial sector, offering social and political commentary.
Short Memory Game
A game about then and now
Many countries and their people nowadays have a short memory of the problems that they face. They react with a simplistic and self-absorbed attitude, forgetting that often they created those problems themselves.
So we’ve put a twist on the kids’ classic Memory Game and turned it into a Short Memory Game where players have to match today’s problems with yesterday’s causes.
